Scientists discover new kind of tarantula with a horn on its back
A newly-discovered tarantula comes with the notable feature of having a horn on its back.
Found in Angola, the new species belongs to a group known as horned baboon spiders, although not all members have the scary looking protuberance.
At this point scientists are not certain what the spider's horn is used for, although indigenous people in the area where it was found have provided a little more detail on the habits of the insect.
