Vehicle crashes into police station lobby with infant in backseat

A woman crashed a car through the entrance of a police station in San Pedro, California, on Saturday morning, while an infant was in the backseat.

Los Angeles Police said that the woman tried to pull out of the station but was trapped by a barrier and was apprehended.

Both the woman and the infant were uninjured, Los Angeles police said.

There was no indication that drugs or alcohol were factors in the incident, according to a police officer.
