Car reverses out of harm's way just before crash

The driver who captured this crash in Los Angeles on his dashcam had reversed to safety on "instinct".

"I had installed a dashcam only an hour before the accident because most LA drivers are terrible," he said.

"I don't know why I backed up when I did, it was just instinct, but I backed up at least a car distance away from the line and narrowly missed being hit."

He was driving his brand new Mercedes AMG - and was one lucky guy.
