Kate Middleton reveals the surprising food Princess Charlotte loves to eat

While on a trip to Lavender Primary School in North London yesterday with Place2Be, one of her royal patronages focusing on providing mental health support to children in schools, Kate Middleton revealed one of Princess Charlotte's favourite foods. "Charlotte loves olives," she said.

Talking to the schoolchildren, Kate also shared that both Charlotte and Prince George really enjoy cooking.

Matthew Kleiner-Mann, chief executive of the Ivy Learning Trust dished to reporters, "She was telling us how much her children love cooking and how they cook for her. They made cheesy pasta the other day. One stirs the flour, one puts the milk and butter in. And they make salads and stuff."

Kate reportedly also told the kids, "It's interesting how food and energy and how you feel work together. It's amazing the connection between physical and mental well-being."

This isn't the first time the Duchess of Cambridge has shared her family's love of cooking. Last March, during her final outing before the birth of Prince Louis, she revealed that her children enjoy making pizza from scratch. "They love it because they can get their hands messy," she said while working with volunteers to prepare meals for the Commonwealth Big Lunch.
