Sound of plane crashing caught on security camera

A small plane crashed into a home in California on Sunday, killing the pilot and four others, and the sound of the aircraft coming down was captured on a local resident's security camera.

He said: "I was about two miles away and likely in the flight path of the plane. The plane is not on camera, but the audio of the horrifying crash can clearly be heard."

The twin-engine plane came apart and caught fire mid-flight, according to witnesses, before crashing in Yorba Linda, a suburb of LA.

The flight went awry just minutes after taking off from a local airport, some 20 miles south-east of the city.
