Everyone has a strong opinion on sex of royal baby, Meghan says
The Duchess of Sussex has said everyone has a “strong opinion” on whether her baby will be a boy or a girl.
Meghan joined Prince Harry on a visit to Tomorrow’s Women Wirral – where she stressed the importance of women “supporting each other”.
The organisation helps around 6,000 vulnerable women by putting on training courses and workshops – including support groups around mental health issues, domestic abuse and addiction.

During the visit, Harry met some keen knitters in a session called “Knit and Knat”, in which he spotted some clothing for babies.
He picked up a hat for a premature baby to many “ahhs” from those in the room, as well as mimicking a walking infant by putting his fingers into some small baby boots.
While Harry examined the boots, the duchess spoke to a woman in a Cilla Black t-shirt named Carol Cullen who told Meghan her favourite song was How Much Is That Doggy In The Window?, to which the duchess replied “my grandma loved that song”.
After their short conversation, Ms Cullen’s carer Val Curtis said: “I told you if you wore the t-shirt you would get noticed.”

As the couple moved on from a floristry workshop, Meghan was asked if her baby was going to be a boy or a girl, to which she said: “We don’t know.”
One woman in the room said it was going to be a girl, to which Meghan replied: “Everyone has a strong opinion on this.”
Addressing the staff, beneficiaries and volunteers at the centre as the royal couple unveiled a plaque commemorating their visit, Meghan said: “We’re both incredibly honoured to be here and I think we all know how important, for me, it is to be supporting each other.
“As my husband may have mentioned earlier to some of you, it’s also key that men were there supporting behind the scenes and very presently as well, so I think I can very safely say on behalf of both of us that it’s an honour to be here.
“We really believe in the work that Tomorrow’s Women is doing, but having spoken to all of you, we very much believe in each and every one of you.”
She added: “The courage that you have, the resilience that is being built with you being here, and just the journey that you keep continuing to take. You’re an inspiration to so many people so thank you for having us.”
