Driver navigates harrowing zero-visibility during Finland winter

Drivers in parts of Finland drove through frighteningly low visibility as a winter storm struck.

Europe has been experiencing huge amounts of snowfall across central and even southern parts including Greece have all experienced disruption and even deaths.

In Austria authorities have taken to using explosives to dislodge freshly fallen snow that posses an avalanche risk to small villages and resorts.

Although Britain is yet to see any major snowfall of the winter, forecasters have warned that meteorological conditions look very similar to last year when most of the UK was gripped by the Beast from the East.

As temperatures across the British Isles begin to fall from unseasonal highs over the Christmas period it's possible that we will yet see a flurry or two of the white stuff yet.
