Fallen sign crushes car in Australia

A woman had a lucky escape on a Melbourne motorway after a massive overhead road sign collapsed on to her car.

The woman was taken to Royal Melbourne Hospital with an arm injury after the sign toppled on to the vehicle on Tuesday.

Footage from the scene shows a blue car crushed by the sign, with its windscreen shattered and glass strewn across the road. No other cars were hit.

The woman is in a stable condition.
