Harry and Meghan to move out of Kensington Palace

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex will be moving out of Kensington Palace and into their own cottage in preparation for the birth of their first child.

Harry and Meghan will move to Frogmore Cottage in the grounds of Windsor Castle in early 2019, Kensington Palace confirmed.

The couple were married at Windsor Castle in May and held their reception for around 200 guests at Frogmore House, a 17th century royal residence on the same estate.

Harry and Meghan announced last month that they were expecting their first child, which is due in spring 2019.

Kensington Palace said Windsor was a "very special place" for the couple.

The pair have been living at Kensington Palace in London near his brother William, the Duke of Cambridge and his family.

Harry and Meghan have been living at Nottingham Cottage on the estate since their engagement in 2017, but the move means they will be 20 miles away from William, Kate and their three children – George, Charlotte and Louis.
