Children risking their lives by dodging huge waves

This shocking footage shows a group of children risking their lives by dodging huge waves on the wrong side of a seawall in Dawlish on the Devon coast.

Five kids were filmed running along the seafront wall, getting soaked by massive breakers.

Fortunately, none of them were swept away by the massive waves, but the man who captured the footage said he was so shocked.

He wants to raise awareness about the dangers of wave dodging. The man, who wishes to remain anonymous, said: "Some of the waves were massive".

The footage was captured on Monday at Dawlish seafront, which has been battered by high winds and heavy rain over the past few weeks, closing the trainline on several occasions.
