Weather Channel reporter mocked for calling snowman a 'snowperson'
A reporter for The Weather Channel is ridiculed mocked on Twitter after he used the gender-neutral term "snowperson" to describe a snowman.
"1st snowperson of the season and the 2nd snowfall in less than a week in Nashua, NH", Mike Seidel tweeted to his 2.6 million followers.
Conservatives immediately pounced on the gender-neutral term as evidence of political correctness gone mad.
1st snowperson of the season and the 2nd snowfall in less than a week in Nashua, NH. Thanks to @TheMattSaffer for the eyes, nose, etc.
