Armed bank robbers target high street bank
Police are hunting two armed robbers after they targeted a high street bank in broad daylight.
The men, who were brandishing weapons and dressed in blue overalls, entered the Lloyds TSB branch on High Street in Gorseinon, Swansea, just after 10am on Tuesday morning.

Armed police along with a dog unit and police helicopter were deployed to the town centre after the two suspects fled the scene in a car.
Police said it was currently “unclear” if the men had managed to steal any cash from the bank, but confirmed no-one was hurt during the incident.

A spokeswoman for South Wales Police said: “Arrest inquiries are ongoing and anyone who has any information which could assist the investigation, or who witnessed any suspicious activity in the area prior to the incident, is urged to contact 101, or 999 in an emergency, quoting occurrence 1800440811.
“Crimestoppers can also be contacted anonymously on 0800 555 111.”
