Ancient skeleton of pregnant woman discovered in Egypt

Egypt's Ministry of Antiquities have announced that archaeologists found the skeleton of an ancient woman who appears to have died not long before she would have given birth.

The remains of the woman indicate a possible fracture, according to Newsweek.

Scientists estimate she was around 25 years old and suggest that she died as a result of the fracture being treated improperly.

Some artefacts were also uncovered that included roughly 3500-year-old pottery.
