Makeup artist creates terrifying peeling face

This makeup artist used a latex mask to make it look like her face was peeling off.

When the fake face comes off, it reveals realistic paintings of muscle tendons and teeth.

Julia Wunderlich, from Germany, created this amazingly horrific look by using a silicone/latex cover to make a hyper-realistic face that sat upon her own.

Julia has been a make-up artist for eight years, but it's been the last two in which she's been exploring special-effects based make-up – which she then posts on her Instagram page @metamorphosia_fx.
