In Video: Emmeline Pankhurst statue undergoes bronze ‘pour’

A statue of political activist and suffragette leader Emmeline Pankhurst has reached the all-important “pour” stage, where the finished wax mould is cast in bronze.

The piece by sculptor Hazel Reeves will be unveiled in Manchester on December 14.
