Did Eugenie make a mistake by marrying in the same wedding venue as Meghan and Harry?
Princess Eugenie married Jack Brooksbank on Friday at St. George's Chapel in Windsor Castle – the same venue Meghan married Prince Harry in earlier this year.
While both events gained huge attention from royal fans, the proximity of the two weddings – just five months away from each other – meant people couldn't help but draw comparisons.
What's more, as Harry's a senior member of the royal family, his wedding was far more of a spectacle.
Commentator and broadcaster Vanessa Feltz criticised the 'peculiar' decision to have both weddings at the same Windsor-based location.
"I've hosted two enormous weddings for my daughters, one which involved two horses and carriages and God knows what, and I would not have done both weddings in the same place," said Vanessa.
"I think that was most peculiar. It's not as if they don't have a few other chapels they could have chosen," she added.
"I would not want to invite comparisons in this way: 'Was it as good? Were there as many people in the crowd?' Better have something different."While Meghan and Harry's nuptials attracted a huge turnout from the public, the same could not be said of Eugenie's wedding.
Pictures of the scarce crowds lining the Long Walk and outside the church circulated on social media, with many making comparisons between the two ceremonies.
