Detectives offer £10k reward to help solve suspicious death

Detectives have offered a reward of £10,000 to help solve the suspicious death of a Polish man, now being treated as a murder 'hit' linked to organised crime.

Piotr Woroneicki, 32, was found unresponsive in the street in November last year, with police originally treating his death as 'unexplained'.

But a special post-mortem later revealed Piotr, who was dead for several hours before his discovery, was likely killed by compression to the neck.

The BBC reports that there were a number of attempted break-ins and a burglary at Mr Woroneicki's home in Clapham Common in the months leading up to his murder, and CCTV footage (above) has now been released showing two men police would like to question.
