Meghan breaks royal protocol on first solo engagement

The Duchess of Sussex attended her first solo engagement at the Royal Academy of Arts in London on Tuesday.

However, Meghan appeared to break royal protocol by closing her car door herself when she arrived.

She's not the first royal to do this, her husband Prince Harry also closed the door of his Range Rover at the launch of Together: Our Community Cookbook earlier this month.

That's not stopped royal watchers from furiously consulting their etiquette books.
