Radio host rails at 'bovine' Brexiteers

Talk radio presenter James O'Brien has challenged fervent Brexit supporters to explain why they wish to exit the EU regardless of the harm it might cause.

The popular LBC host seemed bemused as he pondered the lack of clarity and detail from the most-enthusiastic Brexiteers.

He said: "I can't believe that two years after the vote was cast, the people who told us to vote that way still can't tell us what we get. What it is we think we've won."

And he also drew attention to a moving of the goalposts by hardcore Leavers.

"Switzerland and Norway now are being described in the most negative of terms by precisely the same people who once told us they were good ideas."

O'Brien went on to expound on the need to know what was on the other side of the door, rather than simply reciting "leave means leave".
