'Court jester' Guy Pelly named as one of Prince Louis' godparents

Here is the full list of Prince Louis' godparents:

- Guy Pelly

Guy Pelly, who for many years ran a string of nightclubs popular among the Chelsea crowd, was dubbed William and Harry's "court jester" for his wild ways and helped organise William's stag do.

He dressed up as the Queen and imitated her voice in 2005 when Harry was infamously photographed wearing Nazi paraphernalia at a fancy-dress party.

The former Stowe public schoolboy is said to have met the royal brothers through the Beaufort Hunt and married Holiday Inn heiress Lizzy Wilson in 2014.

- Nicholas van Cutsem

Nicholas van Cutsem is one of four brothers - Hugh, Edward and William are the other three - who are close friends of the Duke of Cambridge and his brother, the Duke of Sussex.

Mr van Cutsem is a major in the British Army and his young daughter Florence was a bridesmaid at the Duke and Duchess of Sussex's wedding, while his brother William was one of the groom's ushers.

- Lady Laura Meade

Lady Laura Meade is married to William's close friend James Meade, who is one of Princess's Charlotte's godparents.

She was born Lady Laura Marsham, and is the daughter of the 8th Earl of Romney.

Mr Meade went to Eton with William and has been a good friend since school. He is the son of Olympic gold medallist equestrian Richard Meade.

He is also close to Kate and accompanied her to the Badminton Horse Trials after her brief split from William in May 2007.

Mr Meade, known to his friends as "Meadey", once took part in a charity boxing match at Boodles Boxing Ball in 2008 - watched by William and Kate, under the nickname "the Badger".

- Hannah Carter

Hannah Carter, nee Gillingham, is an old school friend of Kate's, with the pair both attending Marlborough College.

She is married to Robert Carter, whose family are wealthy Norfolk landowners.

Both William and Kate attended their wedding in 2012.

Her sister-in-law, Sophie Carter, is one of Charlotte's godparents.

- Lucy Middleton

Miss Middleton, a solicitor, is the Duchess of Cambridge's cousin.

- Harry Aubrey-Fletcher

Harry Aubrey-Fletcher is another good friend of William and was photographed playing up during the Cheltenham Festival in 2013 when he jokingly pulled the duke's ear.

An old school friend of William and Harry, his father is Sir Henry Aubrey-Fletcher, Lord Lieutenant of Buckinghamshire - the Queen's official representative in the county.
