Moment murder suspect is arrested
Police have released a recording of the moment a murder suspect was arrested - after he was jailed for life.
In the footage, Owen Pellow appeared dazed when officers called at his home after he dialled 999 claiming his ex-partner, Lisa Marie-Thornton, had killed herself.
Pellow, 43, of Burnham-on-Sea was convicted of murdering Ms Marie-Thornton, 36, after Bristol Crown Court heard he stabbed her 39 times.
He denied the charges, claiming his victim had inflicted the injuries upon herself.
The judge, who heard Pellow had a 'fascination of knives' with more than 200 in his collection, ordered that he serve a minimum of 17 years.
