Knife held to shop worker's throat

A man aged in his 60s has had a knife held to his throat during an incident in Co Down.

It happened while he was working in a shop on Albert Street in Bangor on Wednesday afternoon.

The suspect demanded money but fled when the man refused.

A 17-year-old man was later arrested on suspicion of a number of offences including attempted robbery, possession of a blade and burglary.

He remained in police custody and was assisting officers with their enquiries.
