In Video: Rescue mission saves ewe buried in heavy snow

While the heavy snow caused disruption across wide parts of the UK, it proved a particular burden for one sheep in mid Wales.

The sheep was found buried in snow over its head and had to be dug out by the farmer. Despite the icy ordeal, the ewe seemed to be unharmed and ran away from its saviour as soon as it was able.
