Leicestershire Police said the investigation is continuing, and three people remain in custody after being arrested on suspicion of kidnap and murder.

Officers said Thomas Jervis, 23, of Enderby Road, Whetstone, Charles Frances Mcauley, 20, of Gooding Avenue, Leicester, and Callan Reeve, 19, of Aylmer Road, Leicester, have all been charged with the kidnap and robbery of Mr Jogiya.

The three men appeared at Leicester Magistrates' Court on Wednesday and will appear at the city's crown court on February 28, court staff said.

A £10,000 reward has been offered by Crimestoppers for anyone with information leading to the arrest and conviction of those responsible for Mr Jogiya's murder.

His family said in a statement: "Ramniklal was a loyal, gentle man who was passionate about his family.

"He was a doting husband, father, grandad, brother and uncle, who loved nothing more than spending time with his family."
