Where is travel being disrupted as snowy severe weather hits roads and airports?
Heavy snow is causing widespread disruption across parts of England and Wales, with road and air travel affected.
Here are some closures in the region:

Birmingham Airport - flights are temporarily suspended on Sunday morning after heavy snowfall closed the runway. Passengers have been advised to check birminghamairport.co.uk for updates or contact their airline for further information.
M1 northbound stopped between junction 16 and junction 17 due to "numerous breakdowns/collisions".
#M40 is now closed northbound between J15 and J16 due to a multiple vehicle collision. We have managed to move vehicles into lane 1 but the carriageway needs to be ploughed before we can safely re-open.

M40 outside Warwick closed due to a multiple vehicle collision between junction 15 and Junction 16. Expected to reopen once ploughed.
A417 in Gloucestershire closed in both directions between the A429 and A436 due to "multiple separate collisions".
#A458 is closed in both directions between #Wales and #A5 near #Shrewsbury.due to a collision between a vehicle and a telegraph pole.Will advise as soon as the carriageway is safe to re-open.
