Jennifer Lawrence and Darren Aronofsky call it quits
Jennifer Lawrence and Darren Aronofsky have split after a year of dating.
The Oscar winner, 27, and director, 48, started seeing each other in September 2016 after they finished filming Mother!.
However, a source confirmed to People magazine they had gone their separate ways.
The couple, who had a 22 year age gap, initially kept quiet about their romance, until Lawrence discussed it during promotional interviews for Mother last summer.
She told Vogue magazine in the summer: "I've been in relationships before where I am just confused. And I'm never confused with him."
Prior to Aronofsky, Lawrence dated Coldplay frontman Chris Martin and English actor Nicholas Hoult.
Meanwhile, the American film-maker has a 10-year-old son from a previous relationship with English actress Rachel Weisz.
