JM Barrie's Peter Pan remains a well known story around the world, not only thanks to the book but also recent stage and screen editions.
Before the modern day incarnation of Peter Pan hit the shelves, the original story featuring the 'boy who wouldn't grow up' was called 'Peter Pan in Kensington Gardens'.

Now, 111 years later, a flat in Kensington Park Gardens is on the market for a cool £1.3 million.
This isn't just any flat though, this is the home that inspired Peter Pan.
The listing states: "From 1897-1904, 31 Kensington Park Gardens was home to the Llewellyn Davies family, the inspiration behind JM Barrie's most beloved fairy tale, Peter Pan.
The two bed, one bath home is listed with Strutt and Parker with a guide price of £1,375,000.
Whoever is lucky enough to take the residence off the market will also have access to a set of stunning communal gardens.
The home is right in the heart of Notting Hill, a 10 minute walk from London's famous Portobello Road and just a few stops on the underground from the central London shops.
The flat is also just a half hour walk away from the famous Peter Pan statue, situated in Kensington Gardens, alongside The Serpentine.
While the price tag may seem a little steep for a two-bed, it's certainly in line with other properties in this upmarket area of the capital.
A four-bedroom flat in the same road is currently on the market with Prime Location for £2.5m, meanwhile a one-bed nearby has been listed at £1.75m, also with Prime Location.
