Man, 29, stabbed to death after Hounslow 'fight' named

A 29-year-old man who was stabbed following reports of a fight between two groups in west London has been named by police.

Patrick Oyeri was found on Rosebery Road, Hounslow, on Monday afternoon.

Officers said the groups had dispersed by the time they arrived at the scene at 3.35pm.

The victim was treated by paramedics but died just after 4.15pm.

A post-mortem examination held on Tuesday gave the cause of death as a stab wound to the liver.

An inquest was opened and adjourned on Thursday at West London Coroner's Court.

No arrests have been made and detectives from the Metropolitan Police are continuing to appeal for information.
