Pregnant Kate to miss George's first school run because of morning sickness
The Duchess of Cambridge will miss taking Prince George to his first day at school because she is suffering from severe morning sickness.
Kate had hoped to join the Duke of Cambridge on the school run as four-year-old George starts at Thomas's Battersea, a fee-paying independent school in south London.
A Kensington Palace spokesman said: "Unfortunately the Duchess of Cambridge remains unwell, and will not be able to accompany Prince George on his first day of school.

"The Duke of Cambridge will drop off Prince George this morning as planned."
Kate, who is less than 12 weeks pregnant, has been forced to pull out of two public engagements this week as she suffers from hyperemesis gravidarum, as she did in her previous pregnancies.
