The Duchess of Cambridge launched the Natural History Museum's new display on Thursday evening.

The royal dazzled in a pale blue Preen dress and Prada heels as she joined Sir David Attenborough at the London museum.

The ceremony marked the unveiling of a whale skeleton, named Hope, which hangs from the ceiling and replaces Dippy the dinosaur, which is now on tour.

Speaking at the relaunched Hintze Hall, the Duchess admitted her children Prince George and Princess Charlotte 'adore' visiting the museum.

She said: "I am experiencing the joy all over again with my own children, who adore coming here, and it is not just to see the T-Rex mind you."
