Premium Bonds: July winners announced

Two lucky members of the public from opposite ends of the country will be crowned new millionaires today thanks to July's Premium Bonds results.

Two bond holders from Cumbria and Dorset have won the £1 million jackpot in this month's draw.

The first winner is a woman from Cumbrian who won with bond number 200CF877271. It was part of a £30,000 purchase in December 2012 and amounts to the winner's total holdings.

The second lucky millionaire is a man from Dorset who hit the big time with bond number 262CH557538. The £20,000 bond was bought in December 2015 and is part of a total holding of £40,633.

Premium Bonds have now paid out over £17.5 billion, with ERNIE generating 373 million winning numbers.
