Boy, 15, charged over rape and robbery of woman in forties

A boy has been charged with the knifepoint rape and robbery of a woman in her forties.

It is alleged the 15-year-old attacked the woman in Sutcliffe Park in Kidbrooke, south-east London, on April 19.

The teenager, who is from Lee Green in south-east London but cannot be named due to his age, is alleged to have threatened another member of public with a knife in the same park on April 19.

He is also charged with robbing a woman at knifepoint in Handen Road, Lee, south-east London, three days earlier.

The teenager was arrested on Tuesday by detectives from the Metropolitan Police's Sexual Offences, Exploitation & Child Abuse Command.

He will appear in custody at Bromley Youth Court on Thursday.
