These pictures of the London Underground strike will make you wish you'd stayed in bed

Updated:

With eight out of 11 London Underground lines running a limited service - thanks to a 24-hour strike by underground workers - we were expecting to see some crazy scenes during people's commutes as they were forced to re-plan their usual routes.

But this crazy? Err, maybe not.

A lot of people have just given up on getting on a bus and have taken to walking.

So, yeah, it's probably not fun to be anywhere in London during a Tube strike.

But Liverpool Street and Clapham Junction seem to be particularly nightmarish.

People have been giving a very good idea of what it was like battling to get into work.

OK, can we just cancel the rest of Monday please?
