People are going mad for the newly reopened Regent Street Apple store

If you've walked along London's Regent Street in recent months, you might have been disappointed to see that the Apple Store has been closed for renovations.

But now you can rejoice, because on Saturday morning the store reopened its doors to the public after huge amounts of anticipation. And boy does it look slick.

Apple fanatics aren't exactly known for being low-key in their adoration of the brand - and safe to say, people were thrilled with the new store.

There was quite the party spirit to the occasion, with Apple staff cheering the new customers as they came in.

For some, the store transported them away from a somewhat grey day in London.

People just couldn't handle the store's plant game.

Others got quite arty in their appreciation.

However, with all the hype surrounding the store, some people were expecting a little bit more.

Hey, you can't win them all. But it certainly looks like the new store has done a good job at winning over most: if you're headed to the newly refurbished store, be prepared for a bit of a crowd.
