Emily Blunt to walk red carpet in London for premiere of The Girl On The Train

The Girl On The Train may have relocated from London to New York, but its star Emily Blunt will be making her way back to the UK capital for the world premiere.

Also hitting the red carpet in London's Leicester Square will be the film's stars Luke Evans, Rebecca Ferguson and Haley Bennett, as well as novelist Paula Hawkins and director Tate Taylor.

Hawkins's best-selling psychological thriller novel revolves around a moment glimpsed from a daily commuter train to Euston.

However, last year it was revealed that the big-screen adaptation would transfer the action to Westchester, New York.

British-American actress Blunt stars as recent divorcee Rachel Watson, who is infatuated by the seemingly-perfect couple she sees daily through her train window.

But one day she sees something shocking - and everything changes as Rachel finds herself involved in the disappearance of the young woman, Megan Hipwell (Bennett).

The film also stars Justin Theroux, Allison Janney, Edgar Ramirez and Friends actress Lisa Kudrow.

:: The Girl On The Train will be released in UK cinemas on October 5.
