Democratic vice-presidential candidate Tim Kaine used the National Democratic convention in Philadelphia as a chance to test out his Donald Trump impersonation.
Kaine is Hillary Clinton's running mate as they look to topple the Trump juggernaut and it seems part of the plan to do that was for Kaine to deliver his *best* New Yorker accent in an attempt to call out Trump's reputation.
Kaine impersonates Trump with the line "believe me" on a couple of occasions during a speech where he asked Americans if the Republican presidential candidate should be trusted beyond his word.
"He never tells you how he's going to do any of these things he says he'll do," Kaine said.
"He just says: 'Believe me'. So, so here's the question: 'Do you really believe him'?"
