Glastonbury Festival has installed talking toilets... for a good cause

Water Aid have teamed up with comedian Kathy Burke, actor Brian Blessed and singer and DJ Cerys Matthews to raise awareness about the global toilet shortage.

The charity has installed three toilets next to the Pyramid Stage at the Glastonbury Festival, where loo-goers will be entertained by the voices of the celebrity trio while they do their business.

Kathy's recorded voice says: "Water Aid have asked me to do them a little favour and tell you how brilliant toilets are.

"Did you know one in three people don't have a proper place to do their business?"

Cerys adds: "Toilets really do transform lives, so let's take action and sign Water Aid's petition to help reach everyone everywhere with clean water and a toilet."

Probably not the most unusual thing you'll see at Glastonbury, mind.
