Man in court on Buckingham Palace trespass charge

A 41-year-old man will appear in court charged with trespass in the grounds of Buckingham Palace, after allegedly scaling a perimeter wall.

Dennis Hennessy, 41, of Wembley, north-west London, was charged on Thursday with trespass on a protected site and criminal damage.

He was arrested on Wednesday evening and will appear at Westminster Magistrates Court on Friday, police said.
