Watch the touching moment London Marathon runners help injured stranger cross the finish line
This is one of those moments that will bring a tear to even the coldest of hearts.
A rather touching video shows three selfless London Marathon runners carrying an injured fellow contestant all the way to the finish line.
The short clip was uploaded by Facebook user Lynne Brindley who wrote: "My son Will Brindley 10589, completed the london marathon while helping a fellow runner over the line, he would like to find out how he is, but have no number or no name, can anyone help"
Alex Lacey was one of the three runners who helped the injured man cross the line.
Alex, 36, who has suffering from calf pain himself, told the Mirror: "I got to mile 24, I was in pain myself and had gone to the side to stretch.
"I saw the guy holding onto the barrier with his eyes rolled up into his head and his legs like jelly.
"I asked him if he was okay and the guy said 'I can't not finish'. I put my arm round him and carried him to mile 26."
