Euromillions jackpot ticket is validated
A EuroMillions jackpot of more than £24 million has been paid out after someone came forward to claim Friday's top prize.
The lucky winner, who has chosen to remain anonymous, has now had their ticket validated after coming forward at the weekend, Camelot said.
The winning prize totals £24,769,931.90.
A National Lottery spokeswoman said: "We're delighted the latest big EuroMillions winner has come forward and is now able to begin enjoying their amazing prize.
"This weekend has been truly life changing for National Lottery players with two amazing jackpots won in just two days."
The EuroMillions win on Friday was followed by a jackpot in the National Lottery on Saturday, which saw someone claim £32,534,188.
That ticket is yet to be validated and the money paid out, Camelot said.
As yet, there is no information on whether the prize was won individually or as part of a syndicate, or where the ticket was purchased.
The spokeswoman said: "As well as the huge jackpot prizes won on EuroMillions and Lotto, both games also created a guaranteed millionaire in each draw. That's at least four millionaires created in just two days, adding to the 4,000-plus millionaires the National Lottery has created to date."
