Red carpet glamour as stars arrive for SAG awards

Oscar nominee Eddie Redmayne looked dapper in a black Dior tuxedo as he arrived for the Screen Actors Guild Awards in Los Angeles.

The British star, who has a best actor nomination for his performance as a transgender artist in The Danish Girl, walked the red carpet with his pregnant wife Hannah Bagshawe, who sported a high-necked black and white gown.

Redmayne won an Oscar last year for his turn as Professor Stephen Hawking in the Theory Of Everything.

His fellow nominee Bryan Cranston, who received a nod for Trumbo, flashed a thumbs up at the cameras as he arrived in a black tuxedo while Idris Elba, who is nominated for best supporting actor in a movie for Beast Of No Nation and best male actor in a TV movie or mini-series for Luther, opted for a dark grey suit and waistcoat with a blue tie.

He was spotted chatting to Mr Robot star Rami Malek, who is nominated for best male actor in a drama series for his role in the hacking thriller, as they waited for their turn in front of the photographers.

Orange Is The New Black star Laverne Cox looked striking in a Prabal Gurung asymmetric maroon dress with a thigh-high split and cut-out panel at the waist while Eva Longoria opted for a plunging olive green sequinned gown with a low back. Modern Family star Sarah Hyland chose a navy blue strapless gown with a high slit and her co-star Ariel Winter opted for a tight-fitting Ramona Keveza gown

Mad Men actress Kiernan Shipka, who played Sally Draper on the show was spotted embracing her on-screen brother Mason Vale Cotton as they posed for photographers as Jacob Tremblay, the young star of Room who is nominated for best supporting actor award, arrived dressed in a black tuxedo.
