Boy, 11, calls 999 after mum takes his games console

A naughty 11-year-old called 999 to report his mother for taking his games console off him.

The youngster, from Beswick, Manchester, rang police on Thursday evening to moan about his mother's actions.

Greater Manchester Police tweeted that the boy had been deprived of his gadget after apparently hitting his little sister over the head with it.

A force spokesman said officers will be attending the home address to talk to the youngster.
