Ten killed in fire at travellers' halting site

Ten people including a mother and father and a five-month-old baby have been killed in a fire in Ireland.

The deaths occurred at a halting site for travellers in Carrickmines in south Dublin when a blaze broke out at about 4am.

Five children are believed to be among the dead.

A Garda spokesman confirmed the death toll had climbed to 10 after the baby girl died in hospital.
