Official trailer for new James Bond film Spectre released

The final official trailer for the new James Bond adventure, Spectre, has been released.

The 70-seconds-long teaser, which opens with Daniel Craig as 007 in a helicopter, begins with his sharp-suited alter-ego holding a ring emblazoned with the octopus logo of the secret organisation Spectre and saying: "This organisation, do you know what it is called?"

Lea Seydoux's psychologist character Dr Madeleine Swan replies: "Its name is Spectre."

The 24th Bond film, directed again by Sam Mendes following his turn on Skyfall, follows the agent as he confronts enemies from his past.

Double Oscar-winner Christoph Waltz, who portrays Bond's nemesis Franz Oberhauser, tells 007: "Look around you, James. Everything you believed in are ruined. Why did you come?"

"I came here to kill you," replies Bond, to which Oberhauser says: "And I thought you came here to die."

The latest 007 instalment is packed with explosions, glimpses of epic car chases and Bond's witty one-liners, which will satisfy fans of the franchise.

The finished trailer follows Smith's Bond track, Writing's On The Wall, making it to number one in the charts - the first James Bond theme to do so.

Spectre reunites Craig with director Mendes, after 2012´s Skyfall became the highest-grossing Bond film in history.

However, it may be their last 007 adventure together, with the film-maker saying Spectre is likely to be his last Bond film, while Craig has also dropped hints.

Naomie Harris, Ralph Fiennes, Ben Whishaw and Rory Kinnear return for Spectre, alongside newcomers to the franchise such as Christoph Waltz, Andrew Scott, Dave Bautista and Bond girls Lea Seydoux, Monica Bellucci and Stephanie Sigman.

Spectre opens in cinemas on October 26.
