Spanish rescue teams find two bodies after sea search for missing British women

Two bodies have been found in the Mediterranean by search and rescue teams looking for two British women missing after going for a late-night swim.

They were discovered two miles from Lloret de Mar on the Costa Brava, where the women aged 33 and 36 disappeared at 4.15am today, Spanish search and rescue service Salvamento Maritimo said.

In a tweet it said the bodies were found shortly after noon local time and had been taken to the neighbouring town of Blanes, 40 miles north of Barcelona.
