A missing Lake Tahoe paddle boarder, whose selfies were released by authorities in hopes of identifying him after his board was found abandoned, has turned up in Missouri.

Zbigniew "Zibi" Moryn, a tourist from Poland, swam to shore after falling off the board and continued on his U.S. vacation, none the worse for wear and oblivious to the search for him until this week, South Lake Tahoe police said.

A local boat rental company reported a customer they identified as "Morym" missing earlier in August.
