Watch what happens when a tornado crosses paths with a rainbow

A scene reminiscent of The Wizard of Oz appeared over Coloardo in the USA this weekend when a tornado appeared to intersect with a rainbow.

Storm chaser Kevin Rolfs, part of the Basehunters meteorology group, recorded the awesome sight and uploaded it to YouTube causing some to comment that the image must have been Photoshopped.

Excited weather watchers can be heard shouting in wonder as the funnel of the tornado touches down for several minutes before 'roping out' and disappearing.
