Ferrari written off after owner lends it to charity

A Ferrari owner had to watch his 360 Spider go up in flames after he lent it to a charity to raise funds, but then got into trouble for claiming it was him and not a friend that was driving at the time.

Southampton car dealer Chris Carey allowed the £50,000 supercar to be used for rides around Newbury show ground at £15 a go. But when he got tired, he handed the keys to an uninsured friend, who lost control and slammed the Ferrari into a tree.
