Hennessey Venom GT caught on the track

We revealed Hennessey's pumped-up Lotus Elise to you last month, but now someone has caught the Venom GT testing on a private track in the UK.

Admittedly this is not the most professionally shot video ever, but you'd be shaking with excitement too if the ultra-rare, £450,000 Anglo-American hypercar howled past your camera phone.

It's worth watching to hazard a guess at which power output this particular mule is punching out. Our Stateside sister site reckons it's the 725bhp version, and we're inclined to agree. With any luck we might see the car in the flesh at this year's Goodwood Festival.
