Nancy Xu shares Strictly update following earring injury
Strictly Come Dancing pro Nancy Xu was spotted with blood flowing down her neck after the first routine with partner Les Dennis last weekend.
Ascending the stairs to be interviewed by co-host Claudia Winkleman, the choreographer dabbed the bleeding with a tissue leading many fans to question what had caused it.
Yahoo now understands that her injury was not serious and was caused by her earring.
Although Xu chose not to address the situation directly, she did write on Instagram: "That's week one done. Hope we did bring a bit of smile on your face @bbcstrictly.

Having bled for her craft during a Tango to The Human League's Don't You Want Me, the Chinese dancer ultimately ranked bottom on the Strictly leaderboard alongside Dennis, with Nigel Harman and Katya Jones topping it with a solid score of 32.
"Les, let me tell you something," said head judge Shirley Ballas.
"The first thing that is required always is the music — the music has to hit your ear and come out through your body, and you did that spectacularly.
"Your storytelling, I believed it. So I think you did much better than you thought you were going to do. You were great, take that home."
Dennis, who presented Family Fortunes for 15 years up until 2002, told Winkleman soon after: "I did enjoy it, I really did. I was terrified before but I really enjoyed it.
"[Nancy is] amazing, she really is amazing. I have that imposter syndrome always, I always believe I can't do something and then I can," he laughed.
